My name is Elvin K McLin, Sr. I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. I am a graduate of Beaumont High School class of 1979. I have worked in the transportation industry since 1995 in various capacities as a driver, dispatcher, and a professional chauffeur. My experience driving proved to be a vital blessing. I now own my own business. I have picked up celebrities, senators, and some of the wealthiest people in the world. The name of my company is St Louis Car Service.

I chose to be a part of Cancer Companions after I myself was diagnosed with cancer. The people associated with Cancer Companions are some of the most beautiful Christian people I have met. The mission to minister to all dealing with every aspect of cancer is truly a big vision. Meeting Karen cemented our choosing to be a part of this wonderful ministry. We, Dominique and I, are being healed everyday through our meetings, prayer groups. and all the things offered within this ministry. I want to give back those blessings by sharing the love of Jesus to all going through this journey while we are here on earth.

A fun fact is I was one of the coaches of Salem Lutheran Girls 7th and 8th grade basketball teams. We were undefeated during the 7the grade season going to Jefferson City for the playoffs where we lost in the first round. The following year we were one win shy of winning the entire tournament.
