Kimberly Bourbeau is a lifetime resident of NY state. She retired from IBM as a Vice President, in the Global Service division, at the end of 2020. Kim has decades of global technology, executive leadership, delivery, finance, transformation and talent engagement experience. In addition to her IBM experience, Kim has served as the Vice President and Director of Finance for her Florida condominium association. Today, she is also part of the Finance committee at her church, Regina Coeli, in Hyde Park, NY.
Kim’s life has personally been impacted by cancer; her husband and love of her life lost his battle with glioblastoma (brain cancer) after a 1 year tough fight. Kim was his caregiver and the support of her three children and can identify with the need for the outstanding work of Cancer Companions. Kim is an advocate for the National Brain Tumor Society and the American Brain Tumor Association; working with these organizations to fund research and drive change to improve treatment options and outcomes for brain tumor patients.
In addition to her three children, Kim is blessed with four grandchildren (ages, 11, 8, 2.5 years and 4 months). Her family brings her much joy and fuels her as she works in this new space of her life - improving support for patients and caregivers, raising awareness, driving funding for cancer research and improving health options for cancer patients.
