We Won't Be Shaken by Building 429

Cancer is always unexpected.  Cancer treatment is filled with the unknown “What will the scan say?”  “is the treatment working?”  “How will things change now that I’ve had cancer?” Thus, the words of Building 429’s song We Won’t Be Shaken- “Whatever will come our way…”  

Cancer definitely fits into the realm of “whatever” and yet how can we not be shaken by cancer?  Fortunately, the lyrics share the only answer that makes any sense: "So I’ll stand in full surrender."
