Dear Lord,
Be with me as I face my first cancer treatment. Give my oncologist your discernment not his to pick the kind of chemo that will take this cancer from my body once and forever more. let there be no difficulties during treatment or after. Let the chemo unit be a place where I know your presence and see your loving care through the hands of all the medical staff. Lift away any fear because you have not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love and self control. In your precious son's name I pray, AMEN
2 Timothy 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of fear. He gave us a spirit of power and of love and of a good mind.
