Cancer can feel like a winter that keeps pushing back spring. Whether all your treatments are going as planned or it’s filled with delays, it’s easy to ask God, “When is this going to end?” You’re not doubting God’s existence or your salvation, but perhaps you wonder, “God? Are you paying attention?” “Are you really bigger than this cancer?”

I’m a 3 time cancer survivor. The big C word is scary,life changing, and emotional. Not only for you but also for your family and friends. They love you so it’s hard for them to see you going through trials physically and emotionally.

Let’s say you had a concern. You saw your doctor and he said, “It’s not anything to worry about.” But you still worry. Getting a second opinion is good, but at some point you either have an action to take, or you do not. Everybody worries. The question is, does focusing on negative things that might happen draw us closer to Christ, or farther away?
